ADMISSION PROCESS

We, at Children’s Academy, endeavor to keep the admission process simple and transparent.

Admission Process for Nursery & Other Classes at Children’s Academy

Pre- Admission

As a rule, children are admitted to the Nursery class and admission to all other classes will depend on the availability of seats.
Stay updated via the school website and the school social media sites as we constantly update the same regarding Admission Form dates
Admissions to Nursery takes place in two phases:

In the first phase admissions are for 3 categories – siblings of existing students, parents who speak Kannada* as their native language and parents who are Christians* usually start soon after Diwali vacation.
In the second phase of admissions, the admission forms for others are usually issued after the sibling admissions are completed *Parents who speak Kannada as their native language for Malad and Ashok Nagar branch and parents who are Christians for Thakur Complex branch.

Note: Admission to siblings though granted on priority, cannot be claimed as a matter of right. The Management reserves the right to refuse admission at its discretion

During Admission process

Admission Forms will be issued online on the Children’s Academy Group of Schools website.
Register on the admission portal with Mobile number and email id, enter the security code sent on the Mobile/email id to proceed with the application. School will use the provided mobile number and email-id for future correspondence.
Please read the application instructions and details about admission criteria carefully before proceeding with the admission process.
Ensure that you fill in the admission form completely. Incomplete forms will not be accepted.
Parents applying under the sibling category, must note that it is mandatory to provide the details of the sibling of the child studying in the school.

Admission Form Submission

Submit the hardcopy of the application form along with self-attested photocopies of necessary documents, at the school counter on the given date and time. Also, provide the original copy of Birth Certificate, Caste Certificate (if applicable) for verification.
Affix a recent, coloured, passport-size photograph on the designated place on the form. Attach one more photograph of the child with the form. (Please write the Enquiry Reference Number and the name of the child on the back of the photograph).

A Child is not required to come to the school on the date of submission of forms.

Display of Admission List

The list of selected students will be displayed approximately 10-15 days after the last date of submission of forms.
Section and Shift allotment is entirely at the discretion of the school management.

Eligibility

Admission is open to all pupils irrespective of caste or creed.
The management reserves to itself the right of admission.
For admission to the Nursery class the child should complete 3 years of age as of 30th September of the Academic year of admission.
For admission to Grade 1 the child should complete 6 years of age as of 30th September of the Academic year of admission.

Admission Enquiry Form

Please note that admission to all classes other than Nursery will depend on the availability of seats.
Parents can fill the Admission Enquiry form here six (6) months prior to the start of the academic year.

Please note that application for admission does not guarantee admission as seats are limited. The admissions will only be possible only in case any student of the Academy leaves.

Admission Process

On vacancy being available, the parent will receive a call informing them of the availability of a seat.
The student will have to appear for an age-appropriate gap analysis test, to determine his/her knowledge level.

Admission will not be based on the performance in this test, but is only diagnostic in nature.

Document requirements

A copy of Birth Certificate issued by the Registrar of Births and Deaths (Panchayat / Municipality) is compulsory at the time of admission.
Applicants who come from recognized schools are required to bring a Leaving Certificate from the last school they have attended.
Admission from unrecognized schools shall not be made on the strength of a Leaving certificate. Applicants seeking admission from unrecognized schools shall on submission of a notarized affidavit, will be required to take a regular written test in all subjects and admitted to the standard which they are found fit.
A candidate who joins fresh from home or from a private school has to produce an official birth certificate such as Municipal or Baptismal Certificate in support of the date of birth entered in the admission form.

Payment of school fee/deposit will not be considered as proof of admission. Only on submission of necessary documents will the admission be confirmed and the parents/guardians will be supplied with the school handbook
