Rules Of Discipline

The restrictions rules and self controls are the royal road leading to the goal of self realization. They are not just to bind you, limit or control you Do not fret against the rules and regulations which the institution imposes on you; they are laid down for your own good. Regulation is the very essence of creation. 

1. Students are expected to return to school after the holidays on the reopening day itself, if not, then they are liable to have their name struck off the rollAttendance at official school functions like sports day, Annual day Independence day, Republic day, Shivaji Jayanti day is compulsory. Absentees may be penalised. Every student must come to school in proper School uniform with I-D card very neatly, on class days. Students are prohibited from using School uniform outside School campus. 

2. Any student who attends school without the uniform or whose appearance is in any way untidy is liable to be kept in school library for the day.(except on their Birthday) 

3. Every student must be in school five minutes before the bell. No child is permitted to leave the school premises during the recess or otherwise except with the permission of the Principal/Vice Principal. 

4. Girls hair must be plaited or tied back if it reaches the shoulders, no fancy hair clips are permitted. 

5. Boys hair should not touch the collar but should be cut little above the ear lobes. Please note that a student can be given a hair cut in school if his hair is found to be too long. 

6. Pupils are responsible to the School Authorities for their conduct both inside and outside the school premises. Misbehaviour in public streets and transport justify dismissal. 

7. Students are not permitted to wear any kind of jewellery or fancy 

wrist watches in the school. Securing of your personal belongings is your responsibility. 

8. Any absentee or late comer for the first period in the respective session will not be admitted to class without the principal’s / Supervisor’s signature. 

9. Mobile phone and chewing of gum is strictly prohibited in the school campus. 

10. Running, playing or shouting inside the school building is not allowed. 

11. In the absence of a teacher in the class, prefect or monitor will be responsible for the order and discipline of the class.

12. When pupils move along the corridors, as when changing classes, they must walk in silence and in single file. They should always keep to the left except when several classes are going down the stairs together. The teacher should be the last to leave the class. If you are the last person ‘leaving’s witch off all lights/fans of class before leaving. 

13. It is forbidden to bay eatables form street vendors. 

14. Do not associate with strangers and encourage them to develop friendship with you by exchanging addresses and phone numbers etc. Do not exchange personal phone numbers with the staff or teachers. 

15. The parent of the child hereby understand and undertake that the Management will not be responsible for loss of life/properties or injury caused to the child due to any accident or any sort of natural calamities or for any other reason, within institute premises and indemnify the institute management and staff for any claim on such accounts. 

16. Pupils should be particularly careful not to throw any papers, seeds etc. anywhere in the school premises. They should use the baskets and bins especially provided for this purpose and are expected to keep the school premises clean. 

17. No collection for any purpose whatsoever is to be started and no meeting or demonstration may be held, either by pupils or their parents in the name of the institute. 

18. Presents to the members of the staff or other demonstrations in their honour require the previous sanction of the Principal/Vice principal. 

19. No books (other than text or library books), comics, film-magazine may be brought to the school without the Principal’s approval. 

20. All are expected to speak only English in the institute campus. 

21. Minimum 75% of attendance is compulsory in each Academic term if not then ward will not be allowed to attend the Exam at any cost. 

22. If a pupil remains absent for 25 days at a stretch without informing the school in writing, his/her name will automatically be struck off the roll. 

23. No student is allowed to leave the classroom without the teacher’s permission or until the class is dismissed. 

24. Irregular attendance, habitual inattention, misbehaviour, insubordination to teachers and /or any kind of cheating or serious misconducteven outside the institute premises are sufficient reasons for the dismissal of the pupil

25. All the students must be clean and tidy in their person, dress and manners. Parents are requested to send their children tidily dressed, without which they will be refused admission to class. They should always keep their books clean and covered neatly with their names written on them. Scribbling on books, desks, walls etc. is absolutely forbidden. 

26. Pupils are absolutely forbidden to leave the school premises without the permission of the principal. Those who go home by foot should not loiter on the way but be prompt in returning home. 

27. Pupils should not have money or other valuable articles (expensive pens, compass boxes etc.) with them. Each pupil should be responsible for his/her belongings. The institute dose not accept the responsibility for the loss of books, money, valuable articles etc. 

28. Pupils who are convalescing after an infectious disease or are exposed to any infectious disease will be allowed to attend school/college only after a written permission is obtained from the doctor. 

29. Habitual idleness, copying in the exams or a week’s inexcusable absence is each a sufficient cause for dismissal/fine.

 

FEES Rules

1. All fees are to be paid strictly in advance by the 20th of every month. Fees for the month of April and May are to be paid on or before 20th of March. Fees for the month of June along with other charges of the next academic year and if Bus student, then the bus charges should be paid on or before 20th of May. Failing which a fine for late fees ₹750/- will be charged. Late payment after 20th May will not be accepted. 

2. The school has to be self-supporting because it is un-aided. Hence the fee structure has to be revised when the need arises, to meet the expenditure. If such changes are to be made, parents will be required to pay such fees from the new academic year. 

3. Surcharge at 5/- per day will be charged for next 15 days if the fees are paid later than the specific period, and after delay of 15 days, ₹ 5/- will be charged per day till the fees are paid. 

5. No leave adjoining vacations will be allowed without the prior written permission of the Principal. Student must return on re-opening day after vacation. Student will have to pay ₹ 50/- per day for the days of absence adjoining vacations. 

6. A delay in payment beyond three months renders the pupils liable for removal from the school. 

7. A month’s notice must be given before withdrawal of the pupil or fee for the following month will be charged. 

 In case of non-payment of fees, the child’s Result will be detained for the said examination.

 

LIBRARY RULES 

1. A pupil is expected to read at least 10 books during the year. 

2 Reference books will not be issued for home reading. 

3. If the book is not returned by the expiry of the period of loan a fine of *1/- per day of delay will be charged. Fines shall be collected by the librarian and the fact notified in defaulter’s card. Until such fine is collected from a defaulter, no books shall be issued to him or her. 

4. Perfect silence and order must be maintained in the library. 

5. Only one book at a time will be issued on appointed days. 

6. No one may keep the book with him/her for more than 7 days. 

7. A book may be issued for a period of 14 days if there is no demand for it. 

8. Pupils shall handle the books carefully. Any damage done will have to be made good by the pupil. 

9. Before the book is returned to the library, the necessary entry must be made in the Handbook on the page reserved for the same. 

10. Books lost shall have to be paid for, or replaced

11. Pupils shall return the library books 15 days before each of the examinations. Those who do not return them will not be allowed to sit for the examination. 

12. Students may borrow previous exam question paper during the lunch break only, and may keep them for 2 days. If they are kept beyond the last date stamped, then a fine of 5/-per question paper per day shall be levied including Sundays & holidays, the paper, taken on Friday must be returned on Saturday. 

13. The library has a separate section for parents/grandparents of students on the payments of ₹ 120/- as Annual subscription (to paid in Account office). They may borrow one book at a time for a fortnight and question papers for 2 days. A recent postage stamp size photograph is needed on each card (detail of membership is available with office staff). Ex-student after joining TVMAA may avail the library facility on the same basis as the parents.

 

BUS RULES 

1. The School Bus facilities, available to students of Pre-primaryPrimary and Secondary sections cannot be availed as a matter of right. The School Authorities at their own discretion have the right to disallow any pupil from availing the bus facility

2. Bus routes and stops will be determined and may be modified at the sole discretion of the school management. 

3. Pupils shall be expected to board and alight the school bus only at the school or at their respective stops. 

4. The students availing school bus facility should intimate or take prior permission from school, if they have to go walking, the school authority will not be responsible for bus student going walking without prior intimation or permission

5. Students not in time for the bus will have to make their own arrangement on that day to come to school. The same holds good in case of a breakdown. 

6. Discipline shall be maintained by pupils while travelling in the school bus. Any pupil found guilty of misconduct shall not be allowed to avail the bus facility. 

7. Any damage done to the school bus by the pupil would make him/her liable to forfeit the bus facility. Besides, the damage done will have to be restored by the pupil. 

8. Bus fees have to be paid in advance before each term, failing which the student will not be allowed to enter the bus. (To be paid along with the term fees i.e. in June and December) 

9. Bus fees are payable for Twelve months. Payment may be done annually, if so desired. 

10. Students who are not regular in payment and because trouble will not be allowed the use of the bus. 

11. It is advisable that the parents write the pickup point and address prominently on the articles i.e. water bottle, school bag etc. 

12. Bus facility cannot be discontinued for any particular month and the full fees for the term will be charged. 
14. The bus student’s parents here by understand and undertake that the school management will not be responsible for any loss of life/property or injury caused to his child due to accident or any sort of natural calamities if any while travelling by school bus and/or for any other reasons merely because school bus service has been provided and indemnify the school management and staff for any claim on such accounts (Parents are free to arrange their own transport also if they so desire)
